Turned to slush already.

10 cm deep all over town.

Strongly dislike every minute of it,
walking to work was a true nuisance vic.gif

I'd rather take all-out -10 degree winter
than the bloody darkwet...

Snowy Halloween?!

Wow your country seems to have the same type of long lasting brutal winter as Russia?!

It was 40 below zero while the Nazis were hammering at the gates of Moscow in 1941 and around 120,000 German soldiers died of frost bite and surely many Russians also died the same horrible way...

Not as brutal here on the coast though, it's not uncommon to not have any snow before christmas even. It's +12 now and been raining all day. No snow left behind.

When the Russians invaded Finland it was some -45C so that probably worked in our favor.

In Maryland we get most of our snow in January or February but it can start in December. It's rare to get any in November but it does happen once in a while.

Sorry I prefer being on some tropical island in the winter. :)

Our winters here are not that far away from the Midwest where I grew up. Overall the Finnish climate is surprisingly mild.
I recall snow on Halloween on a few occasions in Indiana.
