Awesome! One of my favorite movies is "The Earthling" with William Holden and Rickey Schroder. The whole movie looks like this. You should check it out.

Rickey played a little blond haired boy and Holden, also an American, played a man returning to his family home way out in the bush. It is so good I don't want to spoil it for you. It is your kinda movie. Its kinda a chick flick for guys. chuckle.gif

Ok. The movie starts out with the boy and his family in a motor home on vacation traveling through the out back of Australia. The Old man's story happens at the same time. He is going back to his parents place to die. He has some kind of incurable cancer. The motor home accidentally goes off a cliff killing the boy's parents and leaving him stranded. The old man just happens to see the whole thing from the mountain close by. The boy and the old man meet up and the old man knows he won't live long enough to take the boy back to civilization, so he teaches him to survive on the way to his parents place. They get there, the old man dies and the boy is there to bury the old man next to his parents. Then the boy makes his way out of the wilderness. The end.

Its still worth watching. 13.gif

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing WR, we love to get out in the middle of nowhere and hang for a while. It's so refreshing to be without news, mind clutter, etc.
It's a "recharge" for the spiritual batteries.
