Quote:Scientists didn't discover meat-eating sponges until just 20 years ago. The new species join just seven other types of carnivorous sponges that have been found so far in the Northeast Pacific, including a bizarre species that looks like a harp.

Wow, I didn't know there was a meat eating kind. But then again I don't know much about the sponge family. 13.gif The second one looks like a tiara.

No I'm not much for such fancy decorations, but if I were a princess I would certainly prance around in one.

How do you know you are not a princess and should prance around in a tiara?

It's possible. hmm.gif There are scientific procedures to find out.

Quote:One stormy night a young woman drenched with rain seeks shelter in the prince's castle. She claims to be a princess, so the prince's mother decides to test their unexpected unwitting guest by placing a pea in the bed she is offered for the night, covered by 20 mattresses and 20 feather-beds. In the morning, the guest tells her hosts that she endured a sleepless night, kept awake by something hard in the bed; which she is certain has bruised her. The prince rejoices. Only a real princess would have the sensitivity to feel a pea through such a quantity of bedding.
