Goats are really cool but they are BIG trouble makers. LOL

They are smart. If they see you hide something, they want to know why and they will go check it out and NOTHING will stop them from their mission. Not even barricades. They just eat right through it.

2 Summers ago, we hired two goats to get rid of our blackberry bushes in the back yard. They did it in just a few days. But one of them, the Billy Goat, saw me hide rat poison from them so they couldn't get to it.

Guess what....
BEELINE STRAIGHT TO THE POISON. I came back outside after about 15 minutes and this Billy Goat was literally eating a big ball of solid rat poison. He ate it all. I couldn't get it from him. He didn't care. He acted like it was candy.

Didn't hurt him one bit. He was able to withstand the poison. They have cast iron stomachs.

Friggen crazy.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

lol.gif When I was about 11 someone gave us a goat (I wonder why?) he had about a week of destruction before one morning we got up to find Billy had chewed through his tether and disappeared.

Poor Billy, poor mule and poor fences. The worst casualty of his brief visit was my Mother's new car.

Which is why your Mom made a call to an unscrupulous bandit of the high seas and had the scurvy beast "Kid"napped and taken aboard ship bound for Davey Jones' Locker, yaarrr...

The rope chewin' story was meant to protect your wee heart, lass.

Yeah pretty much Kreeper hug.gif thanks and Jolly R hug.gif

We (us children chuckle.gif ) liked Billy. We had a mule named Mokey who was as awful as Billy. We tethered him with a long -maybe 10' pole- he could move around and graze but not go too far or through fences. Billy got loose one day and went baaaa ing down to where Mokey was in the meadow, freaked the hell out of Mokey who ran through the herd of maybe 10 horses, whacking them on the legs with his tether pole, they all took off freakin out, wrecked a few fences. He didn't so much chew the car as stomp all over it with his hard little feet then climb inside through an open window and rip out the headliner, all the upholstery, with his horns. So that was the end of Billy.
