He was a good guy, had a lot of Libertarian qualities I admired. Also did some things I didn't agree with, cut funding for the arts for example.
Nobody is perfect.

I know that it is all a dog and pony show but at least they could do is send today's puppet out there to calm the masses.

This puppets job is to infuriate those who think for themselves and a demi god for the uninformed.
I actually had high hopes for him when he went into office, he made a lot of promises that sounded good, then he proceeded to carry on the Bush legacy x 10.
Personally, he's probably a pretty good guy but the people he dances for are anything but. I'm very disappointed. bored.gif *sigh*

Doubt he is a good person because he follows orders that are FUBAR.

He's just doing what he's told, personally I don't think he's a bad guy - the power structure behind the man you see dictates everything he does and says.
Kennedy is a good example of what happens when you step outside of the box, and to a lesser extent; Bill Clinton.
They are trapped just like all of us.

If you're a good person you would not knowingly do things that that harm people.

To be the president you have to be inherently evil.

I think most go in with the best of intentions and then, bam the true masters dictate your every move.
If you don't tow the line you end up Breitbarted. I don't believe he has a choice whatsoever.

I think it was when Reagan was selected president when my illusions started coming tumbling down.

Theres two sides to a coin...

Leadership qualities in people could also be seen as them being self centered overbearing control freaks...

Like my boss (*-*)

Well yeah, the people that have the qualities to be leaders aren't usually interested in leading anyone.
