Was this Les Paul and Mary Ford song the birth of the sound of rock and roll in 1951?

Elvis Presleys first song Thats All Right was released in 1954...

Bill Haley And The Comets song Crazy Man Crazy was released in 1953,which was the first recognized rock and roll recording to appear on the national american musical charts, but it doesnt sound like rock and roll and they released Rock Around The Clock in 1954,which does sound like rock and roll...

Les Paul was one of the pioneers of the solid body electric guitar, which made the sound of rock and roll possible...

It was good for me,it was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Can change the way you feel tonight
Sometimes love just slips out of sight
Just one thing before you go
Just one thing that you've got to know
No one will ever touch me that way
The way that you did that very first day
And i,will never be the same without you here
I'll live alone, hide myself behind my tears
No i,will never be the same without your love
I'll live alone, try so hard to rise above
The years go by,theres always someone new
To try and help me forget about you
Time and again it does me no good
Love never feels the way that it should
I loved you then,i guess i'll love you forever
And even though i know we could never stay together
I think about how it could have been
If we could just start all over again"

"Got the sun on my shoulders
And my toes in the sand
Womans left me for the some other man
But i don't care,i'll just dream and stay tan
Toss up my heart to see where it lands
On and on i just keep on trying
And i smile when I feel like dying"

On And On - Stephen Bishop - 1978 >

"Emptiness is filling me,to the point of agony"

Heres one of the greatest heavy metal songs ever made...

Played along with powerful images from the awesome movie Saving Private Ryan from 1998...

About the allied invasion of normandy during world war two, where and when so many young men were shattered and faded to black...

The four original members of Kiss released solo albums back in 1978 and these are two very unusual and very different songs from Gene Simmons...

Listen to the strange and unique sounding one minute long opening introduction to this song...
