The underrated singer for this more or less unknown heavy metal band is my cousin and he has a very good voice, but somehow the group and this awesome song never received the radio airplay they deserved and so they never made it into the mainstream...

"Years pass but i'm still far away
I dont know why
I feel i'm digging my own grave
Case of do or die
Defeat aggressive prejudice
Your under the blade
Those who scorn me may ignore me
I still have my claim to glory"

If i had to do the impossible and decide what my ten favorite songs are, this would be one of them...

When i was much younger,i use to wish she wrote this beautiful song for me and not for the guy shes looking at and singing to,who became her husband and her eyes are saying more to him than her haunting words are and i still wish she wrote them for me and maybe within another reality she did...

"You are sunshine,you are shadow
You are morning,you are night
You are hard times, you are good times
You are darkness,you are light"

The Way I Want To Touch You - Captain And Tennille - 1975 >

Another great song from a time when musicians were real instrumentalists, who wrote and sang about real emotions they actually felt, that we all could feel and relate to and thats why classic songs like this never seem to age and why most recent songs dont have the same emotional depth and timeless resonance...

"She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running like a watercolor in the rain"

Year Of The Cat - Al Stewart - 1976 >
