Great song! I recall Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush doing a killer cover of it.

We have to try and put ourselves back into the mid 1960's music scene,to properly understand just how truly revolutionary and ground breaking those songs actually were and purple haze literally blew wide open and right off the hinges the doorways of modern music that would become what we call heavy metal and all the songs i posted above were recorded and released years before black sabbath and led zeppelin released their first awesome albums...

Who knows why? but i've never even once heard this beatles masterpiece played on any radio station and this hypnotizing song contains the mesmerizingly beautiful three part harmonizing of George Harrison,John Lennon and Paul McCartney...

If i had three wishes, one of them might be that the Beatles had stayed together as a group making new music and releasing new albums throughout the 1970's,because only they and their amazing musical talents would have been able to eclipse and surpass the mega popularity and the mega sales of Abba and Led Zeppelin...

Because - Beatles - 1969 >
