hug.gif How about hugs and caring? Knowing that lately you brightened someone's day.

Smile about that. I do. hug.gif

Real enlightenment can only come from within. That path is not about the destination, but the journey.

It may be possible that just longing could lead you onto such paths that bring enlightenment. Be careful what you wish for they say so you might be doing it right.

That's more along the lines of what I long for, but moreso an enlightening shamanistic journey, but hubby won't like it - he likes me to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground. 13.gif

Lyrics excerpt:

And this could be my last chance,
I'm saving my only chance,
And this could be my last chance,
So no more keeping my feet on the ground

Hey Octo, as with any halucenagenic experience, I would want to be in a group with a shamanistic master in control that could bring me back, so to speak, but mushrooms seem to be a good means to take me there.

Quote:The recent highly controlled, rigorously conducted medical studies on psilocybin show benefits indeed. Some critics worry that the mystical experiences described in the John Hopkins study represent a “God in a bottle,” and that this challenges the role of traditional church-based religious practices. Yet others perceive the same mystical experiences as deeply beneficial, contributing to a more whole sense of self and of one’s place in a vast universe.

Oh I don't know if there's such a thing as controlling things at that point. You are the master and you'll be sad to be brought back. But of course all experiences are different.
