Like the Massachusetts town full of idiots (bible belted pilgrims in denial) who actually passed a law banning public swearing along with a $20 dollar fine for anyone doing so (legalized stealing and legalized extortion) like the gawd damn tax paid local police dont have anything better to friggin do and anything better to friggin worry about like wtf?! as well as our freedom of speech?!

The nation's second-biggest tobacco company said Monday that it will begin selling Revo — a cigarette that uses a carbon tip that heats tobacco after being lit.

Revo is a "modern take on the classic cigarette" that — unlike popular e-cigarettes that use liquid nicotine — contains real tobacco, which could make them more attractive to cigarette smokers, O'Brien said.

Makes me all the more determined to plant my patch of tobacco in the spring. Harmless herb, like mj, until the corporates get a hold of it, add their chemicals and the gov their taxes.

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot?! AUD 20.00 (= EUR 13.88)???
that's expensive... blink.gif

i think a pack of cigarettes (19? cigarettes in a pack) costs EUR 5.20 (= AUD 7.50) here. but i'm not sure. i roll my cigarettes... a pack of my favorite tobacco (38 g) costs EUR 6.40 (= AUD 9.23). :/

yep, had a weak moment last weekend and bought a 20 pack of Peter Stuyvesant cigs at a petrol station around the corner from my house and they were $23.60.. goverment taxes them hugely and obviously they have put them up again since this thread was posted originally.. i get it, that smokers are costing the health system loads of money so they tax the shït out of it.. but just ban them, put everyone on e Cigs, and have a tobacco smoke free country.. if people wanna smoke something they can just smoke grass, over half the population already does.. sooooo.. ƒück it..

the tourist rip off price in Vietnam is $1 Aussie dollar, this little girl forgot and charged me the viet price and that was something like 30 or 40cents or something stupid.. and they were Marlboro, same as you would get here..
