I was derisively asked what sets me apart....
Well first of all, I'd like to answer that question properly, and it doesn't start with myself, but rather with my condition, and how I was treated by the public.
I either did, or I didn't.
There was no help, I couldn't get a damn thing for any help from anybody.
And the truth of the matter is, I DIDN'T a whole lot more than I DID, in my life.
My brain also doesn't work the same way as other people's brains.. and so therefore it doesn't develop the same way either.
I could read and comprehend a book when I was 4 years old.
I could make swings with a sledge hammer, powerful enough to take down brick walls when I was 5.
I could literally drive a power wheels jeep when I was 5... NOT just simply make it GO.
TRULY DRIVE IT.
I worked for myself doing the job of a Subcontractor.
I even stayed out of trouble with the law.
You want to know the truth ?
The truth is, you don't want to be me.
Because if you were, you'd get stuck forever doing the kinds of things that you did when you first started working.
Because its also a learning disability. ... and believe me... you don't want to know what the things are, that I didn't do until WELL beyond the "normal" time frame, as OPPOSED to BEFORE it.
I also face a hell of a lot of discrimination.
