me too. Most redbacks are tiny. When I was in the outback I worked in a pub and there was several redbacks on the ceiling above my bed. In true aussie fashion the manager said to me if you don't bother them they won't bother you. I slept in that bed for two months.

When I worked on an apple farm in new south wales the farmer lent me a beat up old car so I didn't have to drive my camper van on the farm tracks. One day my friends and I were stood near the car when a sydney funnel web popped out from underneath the right headlight. It looked truly menacing and my mate refused to get back in the car ever again. I thought fekk it and still drove the damn thing every day. I figured the spider was attracted to the warmth of the engine so wouldn't bother me. I still checked the drivers seat and surrounding area before I got in. Never saw it again and I drove that banged up old car for several months. I think by the end I earned the respect of the farmer but my mate had to walk to each orchard every day. I learnt in Australia not to be scared of spiders. I had a huntsman living in my camper van for several months too.

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?
