I never had ac growing up in the south. I guess I got soft 'cause I'm missing the shït out of it now.

I live through the heat of Phoenix Arizona by staying totaly soaked

no other way i could stand it

easy enough to grab the garden hose evry hour and soak yourself.


at work
i kept wet t-shirt hanging off my hard hat
kept the kneck cool

one cup of water poured down the spine works wonders too

Florida had its share of ungodly oppressive hot and humid days, but the heat broke because about 5 every day when there were thunderstorms from hell. chuckle.gif

The worst part about south Florida is the friggin humidity. Holy shït! You just about need gills to get a breath down there. At least we had AC.

Crikey I feel for all yous people caught up in the fires storm and powercuts

down here we suffered in the Quakes. the power cut off, sewer lines busted , nothing worked then ontop of that a blizzard for three days . Snowed in with no heating Lights or food

That always cracked me up. I remember when I was a kid playing in the yard with my cousins. We heard a noise and looked around to see it was raining on the neighbor's house.


JUST the neighbor's house.


We got a hell of a laugh out of that.
