Here are some snacking statistics and why the younger generation select unhealthy foods over healthy ones.
Quote:As with any food, taste rules. More than two-thirds of healthy snackers indicate they would eat more healthy snacks if there were more interesting flavors to try. This attitude is most prevalent in the 18- to 24-year-old age group, which is often the driving force behind trends; this age group is also more likely than average to think healthy snacks generally taste bland. To satisfy these and other healthy snackers, manufacturers can consider adding ethnic and other exotic flavors to their product line.
NEW YORK (AP) — If you're grabbing a sandwich at Dunkin' Donuts, the chain wants you to consider it a snack, not a full lunch.
The chicken salad sandwich, which is served on a croissant, has 580 calories, according to Dunkin's website. The fried chicken sandwiches range from 590 calories to 660 calories, depending on the toppings.
That's one helluva snack
I eat a lot more at certain days of the month I've noticed
You're a strong, normal size and healthy looking chick, Shadow
My BMI a bit under average for my age But then I just estimated my weight
being fat is good, right? *reachesfortubofcappucinofrozenhighfatyogurttoeatmyconfusion
In high school I worked so hard to get to 200 pounds, worked out, ate, did whatever I could finally got there by 10th grade, not sure why I was so obsessed with it.
With basketball, I would start a season around 200, be 185 or so at the end of the season and was in good shape.
For college I needed speed, so I dropped to the lowest of 158, at the time I could walk into a store and wear some small shirts to an xtra large at that weight.
In the army I was about 185 or so when I was in my best shape.
I had got up to almost 250 at one point as well as an adult.
I can tell you that I felt the best around 185, I liked the way I looked the best at 160, and as a mans man in factory environments I felt comfortable at maybe 225.
Because my weight has varied so much, most of it is in your head, you don't need a chart, it's how you feel. But yes I see lots of guts in tight clothes, so to say.
Now I'm going to hopefully bbq some steaks today and get my eating on.
And women if you have to ask, yes it does make you look fat, please leave us alone.
I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
The wise man’s eyes are in his head,
But the fool walks in darkness.
Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.
