One without a private central banking system.

It's instructive that when rebels were taking over Libya, they announced the formation of a central bank while the fighting was still going on.

Gotta' say I really enjoyed most aspects of Finland but employment opportunities are not so good at the moment.

Not so much in Finland. The sanctions on Russia and the downturn in Russian economy has really hammered this place.

Wouldn't that open up entrepreneurial opportunities, such as making and selling butter?

Yupper doodles.

Better the U.S. than some others.

Hmm. As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter much to the dead babies
in the streets of rubbled cities, who dropped the bombs. Nor to their
murdered mothers and fathers who pulled the trigger.

In Russia at least lol.gif

Quote:Supermarket customers in Russia are seeing products on shelves that look very much like some of their favourite Finnish brands, but aren't.

EU trade sanctions and Russian counter-sanctions suspended the export of many Finnish food products, particularly dairy items, to Russia.

Some producers in Russia are now piggybacking on the reputation of unavailable Finnish products to boost sales by packing their own goods such as cheese and butter in wrappers that are a close match to the originals - many featuring text in Latin script with the "ä" and "ö" characters common in the Finnish language, as well as images reminiscent of the logos of Finnish companies.

Probably none -- but some hands are cleaner than others.

For example, the US has been playing in raw sewage and is the most disease-ridden, poxed menace on the planet.

Much of South America is busy just trying to live a decent life and avoid US black ops and US financial ops. Russia has been pushed into a serious defensive posture but they are mostly victims. Mostly.
