Murder and death has increased especially amongst the youth. Knife crime is high with children as young as twelve stabbing people. I'm not sure I agree with you about old people. There are a lot of youngsters here. Most come to work once they obtain sufficient education as the money is a lot better. In my area we don't see many drunks but I live in a gentrified area. You are right about ethnic minorities being consigned to the suburbs/slums.

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

Damn, that is a bit too frequent for one block.

Get out of there!

But btw:

Sickos be everywhere.
A newborn baby was brutally drowned in a toilet seat over here
in our lovely little Stargate Hell of a town a coupla years ago.

Yeah, benzo-zombies.

It's everywhere. Two years ago a drunk driver mowed down two girls leaving a rodeo dance. They were jaywalking on an unlit part of the street. He was charged with fleeing the scene and DUI. That's it.

Don't leave.
Most people are killed by people they know, or associate with.

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!

Well everything is sort of back to normal. There are loads of flowers at the front door of the building. I thought that was a nice touch of solidarity and proves that there is some kind of community spirit.

I hope you can resolve this violence within your psyche MB. I've been in my neighbourhood for over 20 years and there have been rapes and two murders, one murder, in particular, still disturbs me. A woman with a disabled son drowned him in the bath tub. It's hard to reconcile whether society (the system) failed her and her son or she was mentally ill and, again, society failed her and her son.
