You clearly haven't spent much time in 100 degrees C.

Back in the middle ages when the church banned all bath houses because of excessive friskyness and spread of STDs, saunas never went out of style because it's too goddamn hot to get frisky. In fact, saunas were back in the days used for child birth and all things requiring a sterile environment.
