How to live without air conditioning

They neglect, to tell you R22 is being phased out, now all new A/C units use R409 and will not destroy our ozone.

It's just a Global Warming push for those that do not know.

Edit: just like cars used R12 and it was phased out to R134A

Will they tell you this ? NO

Why, because they want to push their Global Warming agenda !!!

Anyone can buy R134A, just go to Walmart.

Can you buy R12 over the counter, NO

R12 is very hard to get, you have to have a section 608 universal licence and your state licence & your Texas DOT number, Those I all have.

This Global Warming has made it very hard for just the average person to do their own maintenance on home and car systems.

Why ? It's all about the money.

Good thing the dinosaurs are dead and long gone, because they would charge you for their FARTS !!!

Just watch the ads on TV, if you do not have a secondary home owners plan and you system goes out, you are at the mercy of your local HVAC company, to fix your system.

All though I have made money off people to fix their systems, I feel this is very wrong, but these are the laws.

For the most part it is out of site out of mind, the only thing most people see is their thermostat, and a filter on the return.

I have a maintenance plan I wrote, and if any of my kritters are interested I will give it to you....You can also find these online, but if I can save you Kritters money in the long run, just let me know....

You need parts let me know.

Almost nobody has AC around here, the last office I worked in didn't have it.
Was awfully warm in the summer.

Cold up there, is your heating unit oiled fired or gas ? I do not know the laws in Finland.

That would be interesting to learn though.

I only know the laws for the United States & Canada

Thank God President Trump dropped out of the Paris agreement, most all of our EPA laws would have changed and that meant going back to school. Just for a .3 degree temperature change over 100 years.

Our apt actually has electric heating, but most apt buildings and private home for that matter run on district heating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_heating

We buy our electricity from our local hydro plant. I have seen more and more private homes install heat pumps though so I guess there's a chance we will be civilized one day

Heat pumps are nice, heating and AC all in one. The AC gets really cold in the summer.

Heat pumps are fun to work on, most all the heat pumps here a duel fuel.

Never sell a heat pump to an old couple, the heat temp coming out of the vents is only 94 degrees,

They are so use to gas heat and call back and call back, saying it's blowing cold air. kinda like selling an old couple digital t stat.

They have no clue on how to program or work it, I had a tech working for me and all he wanted to do was sell.

He didn't last long, I don't put up with crap like that.

I got a call yesterday from Bruce Thornton Air Conditioning (BTAC)

William runs the maintenance department, and wants me to be a trainer.

That is why kelli will let me go back out and pump vapor, and give me some spending money for the river.

She wants to see how I do and she wants to pray about it first., Get rid of my stock, sense it doesn't look like Randy will take over.

My COPD is not good, she watches me like a hawk !!!

I even cried, tears saying please let me do this.

And no that does not bother me you guy's know, because it is the truth !!!

I guess we will see, I do not want to wrought in this house, it bugs me.
