Been through this. Spend what time you can with him.

If the family history isn't well documented you might want to capture any family history from him that hasn't been written down yet.

You have my sympathy and prayers for your father. Hope for the best and plan for the worst.

I know most things in our Family History up to around 1771. After that, it's merely a bloodline trace all the way back to Abraham and Isaac.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Well, it's not gunk. His air pockets are screwed. Too many years of Drrrrinkin' Rrrrrum and smokin' cigarettes.

Sad to hear that, man.

I can relate - my Dad got diagnosed with a very rare
form of bone cancer a couple of weeks ago. He's not
that strong to begin with, having suffered a stroke a
few years ago. :(
(But most certainly of a tougher generation than mine...)

Yup, hope for the best,
prepare for goodbye, I guess.

Yesterdays gone, tomorrow never knows, all that really matters is here and now...

A few years ago our stepfather coughed while mowing the lawn and he saw blood in his hand, the next day he and my mother found out he had cancer,he was gone forever less than two weeks later at age 59...

We can see his grave stone from our back yard in the winter when the leaves have all fallen from the trees...

Just appreciate and treasure the times you and your father have already shared together,no one knows what the future wil bring...
