Then theres the problem with what they consider f###ing with them and what we consider f###ing with them are probably many different things...

If the nest is 6ft x 8ft big like the one in the video above above, just walking anywhere near it and all the worse accidentally and they'll probably consider that an act of aggression and attack to kill...

True...Mine is only about 15 wasps and they have those little baby wasp incubators in the combs

My step father (my mothers second husband) would go blind from just one sting...

The name of their millions of years old survival game is instinctively protect the queens at any and all cost and "if those annoying humans get in our way too damn bad sting those f###ers to death" (*--*)

I had a most interesting opportunity to study our yellowjackets some 10 years ago. We were watching them one by one fly in through our open window, not bothering anyone, just flying in under the couch and fly back out a while later. We decided to check if they're perhaps building a nest under there, but nooo... Turns out there's a hand sized hole under the couch and they're getting our couch stuffing for their home building. chuckle.gif

Could also be you're sensitive due to medication. I know a woman who was surviving cancer as well and her life was in danger if she got stung so she carried the shots at all times too. I don't know though.
