My friend Peggy liked what I shared with her so much today that she asked me to make a video and share it on YouTube and elsewhere. It has a kinda unique insight or two.

Cleanliness, Godliness & Grime

It was 1951. A German nanny who was married to a former SS officer did it while my mother visited my father temporarily stationed in a different part of Germany. Broken clavicle and pars bone on the L-5.

It has affected my life - for the better! Much of the time all this sitting has been put to good use. I was able to walk almost normally until 10 years ago when I fell into my car in the driveway. That was enough to shift things to where now I sit 95% of the time, learning about stuff and myself.

I look at Doris in my mind and imagination as gazing upon me with beatific love. Why not? It's my movie sequel and that movie is going to have a happy ending and a happy middle, too.

cheers.gif Thank you, Jay. It's no biggie. Everybody gets trauma one way or another. Mine might get more sympathy than others. This reminds me of the man I saw panhandling in the street with no shirt. He had lost most of his hand, maybe all of it, from burns which covered a good portion of his torso.

Now that's a toughie.

My hope is that when you watch the video you focus on the blessing of the grime because it is our evidence of creation. The story about my back was just an example of how it can work.

Everybody has had their own broken back in one way or another. We can turn that "bad break" into our hero's journey in a split second.

Every time I shift my focus to joy and gratitude by asking myself, "Why do I love discovering how I react to things?" the act of loving produces gratitude automatically which automatically produces grace. Grace gives us energy, which gives us gratitude which gives us grace which gives us more of what? Answer: Energy, which we can feel grateful for, etc.

With that we turn vicious circles into delicious circles. Most everything is a circle and everything whirls. What would happen if you starting whirling in your delicious circle?
