My post above brings up another oddity in this whole thing. How is it that after, ummm, I don't know...say DAY 1 of this guy NOT showing up at work that his credit cards were cut off? You know, if I don't let my credit card company know that I am travelling across the country - they will put a halt on my transactions if they seem "too odd." Heck, there is even now a commercial about the lady whose debit card gets used in London - and the card is cut off! Here this "leaker" was staying in a hotel room at $400 per night (there were news reports about that) and yet his credit card still works? NOT PLAUSIBLE!!!

Very interesting. There is some plausibility to the assertions IMO.

You want proof - here you go:

An individual with Snowden's security clearance is NOT allowed to leave the country without approval. How is it that this guy ended up in Hong Kong without some sort of alarm being set off that he was on a flight out of the country? FAIL!!!

Did he release anything REALLY scathing? No, the defense is/was that Congress knew about it, the president was aware of it and a court (the FISA court) was "OK" with it. So, I ask you, "What exactly 'illegal' was done here - immoral, unConstitutional - yes - but, is anybody on there way to jail for it? Rhetorical question - the answer is: NOBODY is on there way to jail for the stuff that was "leaked" about!

Yer kidding ,right ?
Anyone not on the no fly list ,can leave at will,if they feel like it. He probably flew to another state before HK .
Also ,he's been fired ,so ....

He had clearance as of October besides there are over 1 million people with "top" clearance not hard to slip through the cracks.

Who would be looking for him anyway ? Not too hard to beat the system when you know all about it.

Disclaimer: I do not and have never had a clearance. That said, because the pay in those jobs is so high, I looked into getting a clearance. Some of the clearance levels basically mean you agree to have your rectum probed for the rest of your life. There is no way this guy with "epilepsy" and a REALLY strong moral character 'fell through the cracks.' Nope, it is just like the "wikileaks" crap - a gov't set up - to control us and not real opposition. Do you REALLY think some low level gumby (Bradley Manning) was given the ability to download all of this really important top secret stuff and NOBODY knew that he would reveal it? No, that is a set up as well!

Some people like having their rectum probed ....

Or so I've heard.....

Hey,where's whiteribbon .....

Looks like they have to report where they are going and there are approved and disapproved countries. And do you REALLY believe China is on the "approved" list for people with a security clearance. Hey, you might want to check out for hemorrhoids while your head is up there!

SMH. Dude, I use to work there, my brother in law still does. All you would need to do is fly somewhere approved and then buy another ticket.
lol Your theory is crap. NEXT

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) said on CNN's "AC 360" Tuesday night that reporters should be prosecuted for publishing stories with leaked classified information.

After King explained why he believes the recent NSA leaks pose a grave threat to national security, host Anderson Cooper asked him if he thinks the reporters who break stories off of leaked information should be punished in some way.

Charter flights require nothing but a flight plan

you can island hop like crazy without anyone but you and the pilot
being aware that you are aboard .

you can use cash instead of cards like i do .

a wise guy like me can get out or into any country

because i do nothing by the rules

just like snowden to not follow the rules

Imagine it and it can happen

No telling how long he had planned to do this

and how well he may have prepared for it .

and as for getting into Hong Kong

easy with China's help

anybody come up with evidence that China did not help him ?

Unless you think like a Sneak

you cannot imagine what we get away with and how we do it .
