Quote:The New York Times published a diatribe from a black reporter Wednesday, in which he slammed “white women” for not getting out of his way as he walks through Manhattan.

In the article, called “Was That Racist?” the Times published a series of short stories supposedly describing the complexities of figuring out if someone has been racist to you.

Not racist, does he see this as a microaggression? Does he want them to run away screaming when they see him coming?

I have the same problem, but it's with everyone walking down the streets with their heads buried in their cell phones.

What a crock of shït.

They're not getting out of my way, either.
Especially not the classy, non-hippie ones.

Got nothing at all to do with race.

And no, I don't think they can see me, either. chuckle.gif

The absolutely most inconsiderate, impolite behaviour
in the sidewalk, however, is presented by - believe it or not -
senior citizens and young refujihadis.

lmao.gif

But of course, this is Pohjanmaa - I don't know anything
about hotshot "journalist" life in New York.
Bet he suffers immensely.

Go to any Halpa Halli in Finland, it's nearly a cultural thing to block the aisles and talk fluff and shut everyone else out.
It's sure as hell not racist, what he should have been complaining about is how people turn off the world around them.
It makes things tough on others, like you may have to walk around them. chuckle.gif
That journalist is obviously from the easily offended crowd, always looking for a trigger.
What a phony.

yup.gif

Old ladies at Halppis are the worst of the lot.
Easier to go through a dozen or so tightly
packed Somalians or loud, gesticulating
"Syrians".

lol.gif Don't forget the Bulgarians, the loudest of them all.
Must be a cultural thing, I don't friggin' get the need to shout everything I say in public.

Well, the Bulgarians seem good-natured enough chuckle.gif
And they read from left to right, know how to use a Western
toilet and seem to love women and dogs. thumbsup.gif

The "Syrian" refujihadis, on the other hand...even if I hadn't
spent a single effin' day on the interweb-button-machine,
I'd still say it sure as heck looks and sounds a lot like being
loud in public for a reason.

If they're on the wrong side of the path/sidewalk I'm sure as hell not getting out of the way. Punks like to play chicken and ride the bike in the wrong lane but they never win. Come at me punk chuckle.gif

But I get out of the way for the elderly and disabled ppl. And dogs.

Why is it so easy to picture you running around clothes-lining kids off of their bikes?

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

I got news for him, I am a white woman and when I walk down the streets of downtown Toronto, the white women don't get out of my way either. chuckle.gif
