I know these places are not the place for advice but I need to ask. I am really burnt out at my job. I am dreading it more and more each day. I am becoming depressed. The problem that is making all this worse is, I have no other place to go. I am unable to go back to college, I am developing health problems, I am so burnt out and depressed I just really don't care. I need to keep working some to be able to pay a few of the bills because If I don't I will be homeless. So what Is the right answer? I am not able to get another job and I do not even have to energy to try if I did have the chance to get another job.

The stress this is having on me is unreal. Having to fight burn out and the stress of having to pay bills as well I am only 27 and my energy and will is being drained real fast.

Don't quit the job you have until you have another one. coffeetime.gif

Did you ever think that your mental attitude is causing the health problems. Try changing your mood from dark to light, from down to up. It works.

Stress is incredibly detrimental to your health and if you don't address the problem it's not exactly going to get any better. You say you're "not able to get another job"? How do you know?

iagree.gif A positive attitude goes a long way. I've always maintained a sense of humor, that's gotten me through the roughest times in my life.

Me too, I just pull up my boot straps and get on with it...although I go further and try to enjoy as much of this gift of life as I possibly can.

It is seasonal work though. Don't get half as many calls in the winter.

Yup, but from June till November he was rolling in cash. I used to do my own trees though, cause I'm a cheap ass. chuckle.gif

I'd love to be able to climb and control my trees, they are out of control.

Trimming is one thing but dropping a 50 foot pine is another.

Making mulch out of the tree is an added bonus

I know what the problem is. I just do not know how to fix the problem. All doors seem to be closed on me with no options available all the more common solutions are not available. Attempts have been made in the past to correct this issue of mine but ended up in fail. This has put me even more and more behind. My soul and mind is exhausted and tired. I know this is hard to describe to those who have never faced burn out before. But it takes a even more toll on your well being. I need rest of the mind and regain focus on positive thought and energy. But in my current situation I am unable to obtain that goal which is forcing me to become more sick. I am stuck in my own mess I have created with out meaning to. Its like you are in a room with no doors, no windows and no way out. The room has nothing in it. Lets say its a empty void like you see in the movies just a white or dark light nothing else empty void. No way out. You feel like a trapped rat running in any direction but its all the same its like a never ending void. The point comes when you grow tired and just have to sit and fall down and give up. I am reaching the give up part not suicidal but just tired of fighting and tired of trying to find my way out.

Took Octo and I a week with a chainsaw, but we reduced a 75' Aspen to a winters worth of firewood, which up here is worth way more than mulch.
