I should take off my rose colored glasses I guess... sometimes.
At any rate, smoking bud and the credibility of the OP are not in question for me.

It's bull. It reads like a creepy pasta. And legal marijuana is medical marijuana. Its not for sale for recreational use, even if some ends up that way. What's his prescription for it?

Am I the only ghost hunter and one who's done exorcisms on this board? I think so.
Bull. I'd bet the same person posted the one about the weird phone call.

(04-11-2017, 10:39 AM)Kenneth Wrote:  It seems this place has some kind of spirits, back when I moved in I used to sit on the couch with my gf doing bong hits and watching TV.

We kept seeing the shape of a man moving from the kitchen area to one of the bedrooms that we where using at the time, but when looking down the hall there was no one there. Her brother moved out shortly thereafter and we moved our bedroom downstairs leaving our two girls up stairs and us sleeping downstairs.

Shortly thereafter, our youngest daughter started telling us about a man that would come to her and wake her up in the night.  Add to that, we keep seeing this shadow going down the hall and go into our daughters room.
We came up with the idea to switch rooms, so our oldest daughter moved into that room where this man kept appearing.

But then we started seeing the shadow go into our youngest daughter's new room and she said she was still seeing same man.

Over the past few weeks I've had a strange feeling, like being watched, and as if I'm making something angry.
Night before last I had to work late and my gf rings me and said she thought something weird was going on.

Our dog woke her up like he needed to go to outside, so she let him out.  When he came back in he didn't want to come back in.

She went upstairs to check on the girls and she saw the youngest was sitting up in bed breathing heavy, like she had a bad dream or something.

My gf went into the upstairs bathroom and there she told me she felt like something dark and cold had walked through her, and She said it was not the same one that looked like a man it was a black shadow type thing.

She took our youngest down to the couch and the dog sat and kept nervously watching the hall.

She decided it was best to to sleep downstairs together in our room. When I finally arrived, I went upstairs and as soon as I did I was hit with a blast of cold air and strange electric like energy that made all the hair on my body stand up.
At the point, I felt a rush of dark angry negative emotions come over me.

I went to check on our oldest daughter, she was sleeping but I noticed our dog refused to go near this room.

He stood at the stairs shaking with his tail between his legs and whimpering. My oldest girl was suddenly awakened, crying as if by a bad dream and she ask if she could come downstairs and sleep with us.

Our oldest was always a happy ray of sunshine, but over the last few months, she seems less and less like herself and more dark, angry and just strange.

She's been drawing pictures of the house on fire, and seems to enjoy saying and doing things to hurt other people's feelings, she threw a dish like a Frisbee at our youngest and laughed as it narrowly missed her and broke in a million pieces
.
She started using the F word, and we have no idea where she picked it up as we never talk like that, or watch shows like that with her.

She's having continued outbursts, pulling out her own hair and it's really beginning to get to us. Does anyone here have any advice?

BTW, I was sent here from people at another forum because I was told there may be a few people in here with similar experiences that may have some insight as to what this is and how to handle it, or know how to deal with things like this.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Best regards,
Kenneth

One of your neighbors is probably engaged in witchcraft or satanism. Releasing the "Demons" you don't want to know about that but if you do...look up what the "temple priestesses" used to do in babylon.

That's quite interesting OP, but you need to rule out all logical causes before jumping to conclusions. You said you had a dog, at night the dog walking around back lit by the TV could cause shadows in the hall. If your oldest daughter is hitting puberty, that could explain the personality shift.
It seems your problem is real, I did an internet search and could not find a copy paste for this, and since your writing is not what I would term creative, I do think there is something going on, and that took some effort to put into words.
You really should also take the advice of the poster that told you to research the history of the house, if nothing else it may give you piece of mind.

OP, is that you need to document this. You probably already have a cell phone that can record video, take pictures and the like. A 20 Euro investment will get you a decent digital recorder if you want to try to capture anything on audio.

I am suspecting that some of you in here, including the op see too many horror movies.

Normally, what a normal person, husband and father would do is to grab his family and flee off the house on day 1 of the story. The kids would not have experienced any of that, only him and his GF would have known they saw the thing.

Even if they live paycheck to paycheck, I'm sure they would have found help if they go homeless.

dunno.gif No easy to be homeless with kids sir. If child services catches you living out of a car in the US, you kids are gone, in foster system, and probably candidates for abuse.

Not even if you file a report that your house is 'haunted'?
I mean first help to seek is at police headquarters, from there on they should lead to find solutions.
Am I wrong to think that everywhere, there are social services and help families in need?

Anyway, no matter what, a responsible father would take his kids and wife out of the house on the first incident. Unless he's some Schwarzenegger Terminator  rofl.gif

Some of you here are so miserable that the only thing that makes you feel better is bashing some poor person that came here asking for simple advice. I hope you people need a hand one day and everyone ridicules and marginalizes you. You know it all authority types are not kidding anyone, you're full of shït. I get the feeling this person needs help.

As Octo has done, I too, aggressively, take psychic command of my space which dispels any negative energies or uninvited spirits. So, if you are unable to control your energies for this purpose, then, as someone else suggested, call a psychic that can do this for you. I wonder if your youngest daughter is attracting these spirits? If so, she will need to be taught how to control or shut this down at her command.

But first, I am wondering about electromagnetic fields in your home? Is the wiring old and questionable? Do you live near power lines (and a large body of water)?

Quote:If you are concerned about EMFs emitted by a power line or substation in your area, you can contact your local power company to schedule an on-site reading. You can also measure EMFs yourself with the use of a gaussmeter, which is available for purchase online through a number of retailers.

Do some windows in your home face traffic? Traffic lights can play shadow games throughout a home.

Quote:Possible explanations for a sensed presence include the motion of boats, atmospheric or geomagnetic activity, and altered sensations and states of consciousness induced by changes in brain chemistry triggered by stress, lack of oxygen, monotonous stimulation, or a buildup of hormones. There is in fact exciting new evidence from a research group led by Olaf Blanke demonstrating that it is the precise stimulation of specific brain regions that tricks people into feeling the "presence" of a ghostly apparition.

yup.gif High EM fields can cause all manner of strange effects. Electromagnetic fields can induce hallucinations in people. Those who are exposed to them, even in laboratory settings, have caused people to complain about a feeling of people following them, talking to them, or watching them.
A KII meter will set you back $56.32 + shipping https://www.amazon.com/K-II-EMF-Meter-Gh...2DDHEJFXE3
but it's cheaper than having an electrician come out.
I suggest a KII because it has a broader spectrum EM detection than the 10 buck cheapie at Home Depot, not because it's used in ghost hunting.
You really should eliminate all the logical possibilities before you call in the Reki masters sage burners etc.
