Yeah, no, my voice is not high and sweet, more so medium tone and perhaps monotone...at least that is how it sounds in my head.

Nobody has ever told me that I sound monotone or falls into a trance when I speak...but I do know that I do not use inflection when I speak and so that would lead me to believe I am somewhat montonish - the only exception was when I read children's books to my children and I would let my inflection and role playing voices loose, and when I do presentations I will change it up a little for interest sake (change it up as in pronouncing certain words or sentences louder and slower).

Actually, recently I took an aboriginal medicine wheel making workshop (gave the wheel to my friend) and we had a visit from another aboriginal lady who was into drumming and chanting, and we talked her into chanting for us, but she said only if we joined her and I did, and I would say our voices sounded exactly the same.

Could be worse, I have a sister who enunciates overly and is quite extravagant with every adjective. Less inflection still gets the point across.

Yes, I know a few people like that...maybe it's an attention-getting thing that they are not aware of.

Anyway, I think my voice lends itself very well to chanting.
