Taking the plane - close calls.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2013/...dings.html

Nov. 28, 2011: A Lufthansa Airbus A340 was forced to land in Calgary during a violent windstorm. The pilot had to use a special technique to shift the plane toward the crosswind in order to land safely.

It makes we wonder if the up and coming younger pilots know these special techniques?

They are still insisting that cruising is safe. 13.gif

Quote:"We're excited about the long-term potential that China has presented to us," said Adam Goldstein, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, which has two ships deployed in Asia.

Yup. Specifically winds off the Rocky mountains in spring. I had a horse called Chinook, he threw me more times than I could count. When I was maybe 4 a stock truck turned over by Rocky Mt. House Alberta, they auctioned off the mustangs on the side of the road and my Mom bought Chinook for $27.50. I called him Shonk. Well, I called him Chinook but spelled it Shonk chuckle.gif

eta: A Chinook is also an evil spirit.

I wonder if that accident spooked Shonk for life, seeing as how he kept throwing you off.

With the Russian insurance companies requiring proof when settling claims, Russian drivers have taken to dash cams
and some amazing everyday life segments comes out of there
and no so mundane as the meteorite blast above the city
but one youtube is that of a plane skidding of the runway and part of the fuselage crossing the freeway and hitting cars
we are going to see more stuff coming out of Russia
but there is a celebrity medium out of Britain who saw all this happening
the cruise ship Saga ends with the breaking in half of a ship and sinkingdamned.gif

She also prophesied of a huge Quake in the Caribbean for this year
another huge quake she says she saw was in Moscow
the Gulf of BP may have something to do with the Caribbean Shake wtf2.gif my gutter mind just kicked in again
But you can see the beauty of a Caribbean Shake
damned.gif

I spent a couples of summers building cabins in Sylvan Lake you guys get some evil winds there rips a door out of your hand and send it flying across the street it happened to this guy he opened the storm door at the moment this wind came out of no where ripping the door from the hinges and nearly severing the guy's fingers damned.gif
seen the Aurora Borealis one summer night I was fishing deep in the lake far away from the the strip' lights
it was Fabulous
I had similar experience last Summer in Lake Of The Woods middle of nowhere in the lake we are dancing in the boat two couples Rock lobster is blasting
Above is the Milky Way like I've never seen and up north The Aurora Borealis in all its Splendor
Rock Lobster damned.gif
At the time it seemed like a good song beercheer.gif
