Morning US!

Wow! damned.gif

That's probably not the best way to lose weight, but to each his own I guess. Sugar is poison and I don't eat it.

More on twinkie diet...recent study.

Quote:

Most interesting about this experiment however is the significant health improvements that Haub experienced in addition to the weight loss. His triglyceride level also dropped 39%, his "bad" LDL cholesterol dropped 20% and his "good" HDL cholesterol increased by 20%.

Yes, it's a sad situation for both the workers and the company owners, they say the strike forced them to shut the company down due to financial reasons. What do you think about that Shadow?

The most significant thing about his diet is that he cut his goddamn calorie intake ffs! You'll find similar results from studies about people eating only vegetables or meat or whatever. Cutting down the calorie intake is a good thing, I just think it's a good idea to fill up with good stuff for the preciously few calories you should have. I eat to live, not live to eat. beercheer.gif

I agree Octo, it is mentioned in the article that not eating meat will do the same thing.

I would think the cholesterol levels would rise though.
