Around here yesterday our wind chill temperature was about 35 below zero and let me tell ya after being outside in that brutal cold, for about 8 hours, clearing snow and ice from the driveways and walkways and even the roofs to prevent catastrophic collapse, theres no doubt in my mind, hell is a windswept frozen wasteland and its strangely surreal and rather frighteningly claustrophobic being amongst and within 9 foot deep snowfalls, accumulated in only three weeks, with even much taller wind drifts and from throwing thousands of shovelfuls of snow and ice even higher and higher than that, its terribly difficult and mentally and physically punishing labor...

The skiing was very good this past weekend, but extremely cold. I had to warm up after every 2-3 runs.

In other words, with nine feet of this frozen white menace already accumulated upon the ground and everywhere else, along with brutally cold temperatures and friggin evil high speed winds ripping and gnawing right through you like self propelled invisible razor blades, in little more than three weeks and more snow falling right now, with even more expected to fall thursday and saturday and with at least six more weeks of cold remaining to suffer and struggle through, this seems to me to be quite literally, a punishment and a curse...

Add about another three feet of snow on top of what some of the scenes are showing within this week old video...

My heart goes out to you folks in arctic New England. Even the ae Atlantic Coast of DC was too much for me.

Aren't you glad President Eisenhower had I-95 built so you could leave those places and move to FL! Between him and the FL man who invented air conditioning, what's not to love.

If you leave reasonably close to the water, it feels cooler here than D.C. in the summer time.

It's okay...the state seems to attract crazy criminals....or people like yourself as well ;-)

Remember, with about nine feet of snow already on the ground, this past sunday night and monday morning was -3 degrees below zero temperature, along with a -35 degrees below zero wind chill temperature and let me tell ya that aint no joke, it was frightening and dangerous to be outside within it and that brutal death defying cold literally took away my breath, while inducing what i would call a mild to moderate panic attack, along with any exposed extremities getting numb in around a minute, but luckily i was wearing a thick insulated hooded winter jacket as well as a pair of black five layered leather and thinsualte winter gloves called goretex i think that cost about $80 dollars and worth every cent...

I feel ya, bro!

One time the temp was about 5 below on a Saturday morning. My car was dead, but I needed to get to a biology class.

I made the big mistake of running without a muffler to the main street to hitch hike. The wind froze the inside of my throat. Ended up with a cough that took six weeks to heal. It's still a weak spot nearly four decades later.

It just never seems to stop snowing around here...

4 more inches two days ago and 3 more inches last night...

Now well over 9 feet in about a month...

Another potential severe snow storm this weekend...

That'll be the fifth friggin weekend snow storm in a row...

Beyond chance as if under malevolently intelligent control...

We've seen the sun for only a couple of hours every few days...
