A bit too early for gardening here, but at the end of March seeds should be put in soil to germinate indoors according to farmers' old wisdom.

Almost that time of year again hyper.gif
It's turned cold here for a bit, a dusting of snow and -10 last night but altogether a very mild winter.

Was talking to a friend who lives near Whistler, they haven't been able to ski to the bottom for a month now, no snow. So they take their mtn bikes up and peddle down lol.

Like another planet, like living and suffering upon some other frozen world, while knowing march has just begun and how that month now is still frigid winter around here and with about ten feet of snow already fallen upon the ground, in about six weeks, along with more of that freezing white menace ceaselessly falling like twice a week, along with accumulating ever higher miniature mountains of miniature ice age snow and frost and ice ascending everywhere, we wont be seeing the ground and growing grass and blooming flowers around here for at least another six weeks and maybe even longer...

Yep, my nephew does that and is begging us to send some snow over there. We are getting another 5-10 cm today, with ice pellets mixed in for sh**s and giggles.

Incredible. Perhaps that's become the new climate change, outrageous precipitation in the East and sever drought in the West.

Well whats kinda frightening is how my daughter is in southern new jersey right now and she tells me theres like almost no snow on the ground anywhere and thats not very far from where i'm living in southern new england, where theres almost 10 feet of snow already on the ground everywhere and so somewhere inbetween here and there could be where the longitudinal east to west delineation lines of the next ice age mountains of snow occurs like wtf...

Hmm...

Over here actually looks a wee bit like spring (maybe) today.

I mean the perpetual greyness is a bit lighter than yesterday.

Would be bloody interesting to see some statistics of overcast
vs sunny for these past 3 years. Seems like the Almighty Grey is
the new default mode. Current cloud two weeks long. February
20somethingth was the last time I saw the sun. And that was for
about two lovely morning hours.

Last July, with 31 days of sunshine and above 25 dgrs C, looks
more and more like a hole in reality, a true freak occurrence.
Wonder what this summer (if it comes) will bring..?
