How amazing it would have been to be able to see and hear Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin performing in outdoor stadiums during the summer back in the early 1970's i mean like f###en wow,i was alive then but much too young and anyways my mother and father were not the rock and roll heavy metal types and so i wasnt exposed to those types of music when i was young like i exposed my two daughters to when they were young...

Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath both realeased what are probably their very best albums back in 1971...

Black Sabbaths Master Of Reality (< wow what a profound title!)

And Led Zeppelins untitled fourth album...

Those two records are ground breaking sonic masterpieces never equaled before or since...

Now that would be awesome. Unfortunately I don't think this town could handle such an influx of people that would flock here for such an event.

What gripes me about not using those €100 VIP tickets is they included food. 13.gif What tastes better than free food?

FREE BEER!!! I am surprised you have to ask, Octo that's the best tasting thing around anywhere

We have almost free beer at home, we brew a bit over 25 liters at a time for about 12 euros - that's as cheap as it gets. beercheer.gif beerbong.gif

Food served at the concert was some type of hash I guess you'd call it in the States. The folks that ate it didn't seem too impressed though. 13.gif

Toto:

Quote:David Hungate explained to them that, in Latin, the word "toto" means "total" or "all-encompassing," and given this group's long list of studio accolades and their collective ability to play in any given situation, the name TOTO was chosen as the official title of the new record and the band name. "It's representative of our music," said Jeff Porcaro. "Mishmash. A goulash."

[/quote]...the record set new standards in pop and rock music at the time and earned them a Grammy nomination in 1978 for Best New Artist.

The disco set loved this stuff back then - strobes below to set the mood.
