Shadow, do you ever wonder how giving a hardworking woman like that lots of money may change her? I mean, she stepped up (instead of getting welfare) and took on that challenge...maybe she needs that challenge.(?)

Raised her husband and three kids on minimum wage, worked her heart out all her life and has work ethic and dignity like I've never seen. If he'd ever worked they might have something but they don't own a pot to piss in. She's an amazing woman and deserves the world at her feet for the quality she is. Yup, that's the first thing I'd do.

i would help ppl like that as well.

i know what it is like.
especially now.

~~~~ nutter Song ~~~~
Takes a slow hand
to friend the heart
Takes a true man
to never part
Seems the flame
keeps on burning
seems ,,, seems a shame
on returning
love is gone
gone away
Eyes that see
won't be fooled
fooled again
She tries ,
tries to set herself freeeeeee,,,,
won't be fooled
fooled again
Stands , she stands to reason
all those nights , spent alone
Grows ,,, then she grows
given love in her season ,,,,,,
in her time ,, takes her Home
Allllll those fantasy lies ,,,
the smooth talking ,,,
and false sighs
then he just keep on walking
walking out
out on her ,,,.
Into the ,
into the Light she'll sail
~~~ Dang , back in a bit ~~~

She's over 60 and no end of work in sight. I wouldn't give her money but I would buy her a house so eventually she can retire even if cpp is all she gets.

Coolchick, people like her keep the world on track. Without them this life would be like some twilight zone. Well... more than it is already lol. I do hope though you aren't battling with a situation like hers.

Vermont's only Congressman, Peter Welch, posted a fluff piece on Facebook today.

Apparently he just got back from Tunisia and The Ukraine, where he was saving the world.

I posted that it was real nice of him to be so concerned about that part of the world, when our own freedom and way of life is being undermined by greedy and corrupt politicians.

It was like a Cap't Underpants delete.

Very fast.

Going to be an absolutely gorgeous day here. Yesterday was +15C and so warm in the sun, worked on the piano and then lit a fire in the pit, music, beer, friends...
Life is good.

Yep, fog and damp today, but come Sunday - keyword Sun day - we'll get the cycle out and go for a ride with the wind in our hair and the smell of Spring and fields coming back to life.
