Hi CC, so what type of spiritual person do you know yourself to be?

BTW, I get to wake up to a persistent (up to 1 hour without stopping :blink;) barking (angry) dog in my neighbours backyard (always there) first thing in the morning, and intermittently throughout the day, then late at night around 10:30 p.m. I am very near to calling the authorities to give them a warning.

i agree about the dog first of all. dont owners hear them or what. seems to me they really dont care about other ppl much. i would call, if it were me.

anyhoo.

well i dont know if there is a particular category..
i have read many different things that i feel ring true.. from all sorts of religions and spiritual teachings..

but i strongly believe in the idea of Mother Earth.. Universe.. Creator sort of idea..
basically living as your true self..

i think we come here, from the same source, but as individual spirits who come to learn certain things in the physical.
things we couldnt do, as a spirit form..

so to come here, become wholly ourselves, and express/experience through our senses..
i think that we take the information back, when we go.

it gets added to said Source.

so to me it doesnt matter which way ppl do it. as long as it is not harmful to others..
it could come from channeling.. or the bible or aliens or where ever.. as long as it rings true, then how it comes to us isnt important.

That was very well said, but what about the people that are spiritually sleeping or can't get past sorrow/hate in their life, I wonder how their spirit reconciles that not learning, not ascending. Perhaps they remain in limbo?

you mean, when they die and go back..? not having progressed to becoming wholly them here..?

well, if that is what you mean then i am not entirely sure.. except to say that, maybe that IS what they are supposed to know.
maybe they are learning what it is like to have that sort of life..
i mean really, how else would source understand each and every human condition, unless someone fulfilled it..

i dont think everyone is necessarily meant to become 'enlightened' in that way.
if that were so well, then.. we would all be...

but i think each aspect of the human element gets experienced.... good and bad..

it all would need to be understood, after all..

that is the best theory i have about it... it stands to reason.. at least, coming from my own understanding of it.

Quote:The term biocentrism encompasses all environmental ethics that “extend the status of moral object from human beings to all living things in nature.” [5] Biocentric ethics calls for a rethinking of the relationship between humans and nature. It states that nature does not exist simply to be used or consumed by humans, but that humans are simply one species amongst many,[6] and that because we are part of an ecosystem, any actions which negatively affect the living systems of which we are a part adversely affect us as well,[6][7] whether or not we maintain a biocentric worldview.[6] Biocentrists believe that all species have inherent value, and that humans are not "superior" to other species in a moral or ethical sense.

The four main pillars of a biocentric outlook are:

Humans and all other species are members of Earth's community.
All species are part of a system of interdependence.
All living organisms pursue their own "good" in their own ways.
Human beings are not inherently superior to other living things.[

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biocentrism_(ethics)

So many of us have veered off the path that we should be on, in my humble opinion.

Quote from link: "The paradigm of biocentrism and the values that it promotes are beginning to be used in law.

In recent years, cities in Maine, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Virginia have adopted laws that protect the rights of nature.[19] The purpose of these laws is to prevent the degradation of nature; especially by corporations who may want to exploit natural resources and land space, and to also use the environment as a dumping ground for toxic waste.[19]

The first country to include rights of nature in its constitution is Ecuador [20] (See 2008 Constitution of Ecuador). Article 71 states that nature "has the right to integral respect for its existence and for the maintenance and regeneration of its life cycles, structure, functions and evolutionary processes"[21]
