i may roast the bones first.
that is only for an hour and it is supposed to make it way better too.

Yes, roast the bones first, this is where the deeper flavours come from. You may want to add one tomato to the stock as an acidic tenderizer.

Yeah, but make sure you don't use an aluminum pot if you put in anything acidic

well i did roast them
that smelled pretty good!

i read some sites say to add acv to the water too.
that is supposed to activate the marrow or something.
i did add a tbsp and a bit to it.

and a couple onions and a bay leaf.

so it is simmering, has been since around 11 now.

i dunno what kinda pot it is.
it is O's.. ceramic coating lookin on the outside..
other than that there is nothing to say what it is made of or how big it is.

It's all good, but aluminum and tomatoes are not a good thing. People used to think tomatoes were poison.
They were eating them off pewter plates and the lead leeched in to the mix due to the acidity. ƒükkêd 'em up all a good one.

Doesn't matter so much what it's made from if it's enameled. If it's heavy it's cast iron, if it's light it's something else.

it isnt cast iron.
i didnt have to wield it.
lol

anyway it is in there cooking.
i guess i will leave it til around 930
which will be 9 hours
and that will give it time to cool so i can put it in the fridge

that will have to do.

also, am i sposed to add water if it gets lower or what.

it isnt very brown yet.
