the first one they had, which died some time ago now before they got the other 2,
bit me immediately upon me visiting their house.
it just ran up to where we came in the front door and bit my thigh.

not a fan of them much.

but then i have always been a cat person so..

They say there are no bag dogs, only bad owners.

so today it is somewhat cloudy with a bit of sun
'it rained overnight though we didnt hear it

and now we have a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for later this aft:

'Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, damaging hail and torrential rain.

A warm unstable airmass is expected to give way to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. Current information suggests thunderstorms could fire up in Michigan state and track into southwestern Ontario in the afternoon. Some of these thunderstorms could be severe with damaging winds being the primary concern.'

it is saying that temp is 23C but humidex feels like 30C
doesnt feel too hot but kinda dampish.

O is hoping for major t storms, as she loves them.

kate bush has a lovely song with a reference to the colours of that..

i just love this song..

"Under The Ivy"

It wouldn't take me long
To tell you how to find it
To tell you where we'll meet
This little girl inside me
Is retreating to her favourite place

Go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Under the leaves
Away from the party
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose (For me)

I sit here in the thunder
The green on the grey
I feel it all around me
And it's not easy for me
To give away a secret
It's not safe

But go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Under the leaves
Away from the party
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose (For me)

Go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Go under the leaves with me
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose
I'll be waiting for you

It wouldn't take me long
To tell you how to find it

that line, the green on the grey..
reminds me of being out in a garden when the sky is like that .. and the grey would be like cement statues and things..
i love that line.
its perfect.

ok i just asked O that for you.
lol
because, i dont think so but on the other hand i can sing that song.

she said, i can sing some alto and some soprano
lol so whatever that is.
i can tell you though that my range, generally, is sarah mclachlan.
because i can sing all of hers.
even though some of it sounds high at times, it isnt really when you sing it.
somehow. it just sounds like it would be.

I think I understand, because my range is wide, but I was taught to sing in a soprano-like (operatic style) tone, but I am fairly sure it does not sound as high as I think I am singing. I should record myself singing some day to determine this for myself.

so im most comfortable in med alto or something..

i wouldnt try and sing something for instance in karaoke,
