I had a really stuffy nose, but I made some licorice root tea with fresh squeezed lemon juice that seemed to have cleared that right up. Then I slept for 14 hours straight. I'm completely over it now hmm.gif

No I'm not sure that was the drink that did the trick. I also had a zink tablet and a handful of sea buckthorn. Could have been either or the combination... hmm.gif

TGIF y'all

well i am told my mum's surgery went very well.. it took an hour or so only!

she is somewhat groggy but in recovery now.

she opted for an epidural during it! scream.gif

she said she didnt want the after effects of general anesthetic

but ahhh! she would have been hearing it all!!

I don't blame her CC. I am also very sensitive to the after effects of anesthesia and would ask for an alternative, but REALLY? AN EPIDURAL? is that the only alternative?

i just called her
lol she sounds very nice and sleepy but in good spirits.

she is happy to lay there and do nothing for now.. while she waits for her friend to come drop off books and things.
she will have tv and ability to call out after her money gets there, as they want it up front.. but that will come later today and they will let her know.
she thinks she will stay til sunday or monday, but she is hoping for the monday because she told them 'i have alot of stairs lol'

so i was glad to talk to her and she sounds well, if groggy.

I wish her the best of 'Grödanhuld'.

That's a word I was only recently made aware of, my 101y/o Grandma said it and I was like wait what?

She said it means you heal fast if you have good 'grödanhuld'
