yes well, we shall see.. the rain came thundering down today and washed it all away

it doesnt seem to look much different but i imagine i will have to do it more than once.

lol my mum told me she is trying to grow moss.
she can have mine lol.

For what purpose does your mom need moss?

It's about to pour and thunderstorm here...with hail (maybe - tornado too?).

that is what i asked her lol..

my mum is huge into her gardening.. alwys has been.

she knows tons about it but is having a hard time growing it at the moment..
i looked it up, she says she wants to make a moss garden.

she is big into low maintenance, you see. she has no front lawn for instance.. just .. hmm what is it, mulch and pathways?
i am no gardener but i think that is what she did years ago..

so maybe that is what she wants in the backyard too.

i watched this, because i sent it to her and wanted to see if it was any good.

but you get an idea from it.

yeah we had crazy downpour too.

The moss garden is a very good idea for low maintenance, but I would add rocks in between the moss, for 1/2 rock 1/2 moss garden.

oh i love cherry trees..

when i was growing up we had one.. and many other things like raspberry bush, blackberries, and an old grapevine on an old trellis.
i wish i realized at the time what we had..

the grapevine was always packed full of huge bunches of grapes. smelled awesome i remember.
and my mum would make jelly n stuff with them.
and she had her gardens of course.. rhubarb n cukes n potatoes n carrots.. beets..
tomatoes..

you know, you'd think i would like all veggies better. lol.

I don't think you'd like the bird cherry berries because of their astringency, but you can make liqueur out of them and probably other stuff as well, but not many people do. But they're pretty and smell wonderful.

Sweet! hyper.gif

The bird cherries are related to regular cherries so it's not so weird you thought they were.

The Aral Sea and what happened to it, is yet another
wonderful example of Josef Stalin's fantastic Bolshevik
