for years, i believe so yes.

but there have been added factors that i was not even aware of, that contributed to it.

at the time i knew nothing about tcm. but where i worked was a refrigerated environment..
not just cold but damp as well. floors were always wet, fog was around alot when sanitization were using hot water in the cold.. you couldnt even see in front of you when they were doing that.

and so, i ended up with different things from that. for example frozen shoulder.
it is invasive cold, and will lead to worse things if not taken care of.
but i didnt realize that..
my tcm dr told me that ppl develop all kinds of problems working in cold.. or say, hockey players after years.. things like that.
arthritis and digestive trouble.. cold tends to make things contract of course so it can lead to alot of tension in backs and weak spots if you have any.

so i had a very cold apt as well.. all led to different things that i went to a regular dr for. it is all i knew to do.
so i am sensitive to cold. even a cool breeze, will feel colder to me than other ppl.
i also do not like cold things to drink.. at all.. and salad, (if i liked it) is not a good thing for ppl with cold to eat.
because there is less digestive fire, raw things take a great deal more to break down.
you treat it with warm things, warming feet etc.. as a general thing.

you should take a sauna and swimming regimen, cc.

then move to ice swimming.

that should get your blood pumping.

Yeah you'd love a sauna, cc.

I have to tell you about my cold experiences although they're not quite the same deal.

I've always had cold hands, since a kid. Cold feet too. I and everyone else assumed it was bad circulation, which it probably was, but when I put JR (and myself) on a candida diet; no sugar, grains etc, a few years back the cold hand and feet problem disappeared pretty quickly. I was amazed. I still have no problems with cold hands and feet, but I'm still on that basic diet (to keep the gut flora healthy) and I'm staying on it for the rest of my life. Gladly.

well actually no that would not be a good thing to do at all.

sauna is damp... and ice water,, lol no that wouldnt do.

damp invasion is not a good thing at all..

it can manifest as either damp heat, such as sauna, or damp cold such as the cold fog kind of weather or environment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candida_albicans

Quote:C. albicans is commensal and a constituent of the normal gut flora comprising microorganisms that live in the human mouth and gastrointestinal tract. C. albicans lives in 80% of the human population without causing harmful effects, although overgrowth of the fungus results in candidiasis (candidosis).

And this is wikipedia so you know it's way worse in real life! scream.gif Lots of stuff on the internet about it.
