Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

In my first English language test in 5th grade I got an A- because I wrote 'color' instead of 'colour'

You should have told your teacher that you were writing in American English.

Oh, you stupid bitch. I would have given you a D over that one.. A pet hate of mine is when non Americans spell colour and mum, as color and mom.. And you do both..

No dinner for you tonight, young lady..

When I was a child I would always "misspell" several words. It wasn't that I would have to think about how to spell them and got it wrong. I didn't even hesitate. For instance, I would always spell ton as tonne. I couldn't figure out why I would always do it even though I knew the proper way to spell them. One day I figured that I was using the British spellings. I still can't explain why I would do that even though I still have a tendency to do it with some words. Yes, colour is one of them.

Reincarnation? I don't know.

Most likely, but i perspectly see. That the first English is brought from Europe. Until the day America was born. It is natural to misspell the words. Why they practically mean the samething, only difference is the ACCENT.

You would be great experienced, either way. It is also natural for the thought process to pick up words to immediate language base to start loading in literacy for comprehension.
