Only Thing I Hate About Snow Is Going To Work In It

Just sitting back and lounging around at home watching the snow fall and accumulate is just fine and can actually be beautiful...

But scraping and shoveling the frozen white menace out of my way forced to risk my only life slipping and sliding walking and driving through it and in it and on it trying to get somewhere I dont even want to go to work...

Then re-scraping and re-shoveling my way back home without getting killed again just like I did on saturday again during that damn snow storm and just like i'll be forced to do again when another damn snow storm just happens to arrive when I have to return to work on tuesday...

You know, what's funny is that by the time our neighbor shovels his car out and scrapes the windows we've already arrived at the same store he's going to on bikes.
It doesn't save any time to make short distance trips with a car in nasty weather.

For some reason falling rain is very depressing for many people...

Symbolizing tears?

But we dont have to shovel rain!

Why is it already more cold and snowy here in southern new england than finland?!

I added a video to my opening post showing the all too often horrifying results of driving on snowy icy roads...

Lets have a seance and try asking the ghosts of the people who were driving in the van on the ice and snow within the terrifying video I posted above and maybe we'll hear what they have to say about it like wtf...

I am dreading working all this week in the afternoons because it will be snowing everyday from Tuesday onwards and one would think that people who live in a climate with winter conditions, people would take extra steps at safer driving.

Yesterday, hubby and I were driving home from an outing on a one-way street while is was lightly slowing and the roads were snowy and slushy and a car was driving the wrong way on the street, zig-zagging inbetween the cars. It was very frightening because the car came inbetween us and another car and from my vantage point it looked like it was going to hit us, lukily it didn't. I guess is had to do with low visibility, perhaps the sign was covered in snow, I just don't know.

Horrible video damned.gif

Rainy days are depressing here this time of year because it's so freakin dark. Snow helps a lot to brighten the days and right now we have none of that. sad2.gif

Yeah like its hilariously sad to me watching down town (or is it up town?) during the winter storms around here when theres always hundreds of cars and trucks all bumper to bumper crawling along the narrowed in by snow roadways at a turtle snails pace during near white out low visibility deadly driving conditions as people walking past on the sidewalks are moving along getting to wherever they're going faster than the vehicles are while watching them sliding and crashing into each other and the disgruntled drivers yelling and flipping out as the multi billion dollar insurance companies laugh all the way to the bank ...
