Stuff this uya Monsanto!!

Quote:In a video about his new world record, Hula described how his combine yield calculator once hit 500 bushels per acre before averaging out at 454.
Even more shocking than his production is that it was all done organically and with special organic soil treatments to the farm that used to house a sand and gravel mine.

When Americans start turning into brain eating zombies we will fix the problem by importing Canadian brains. Did I say that? I'm getting hungry. Shadow...drool.gif

David Hula is not an organic farmer. That yield came from a field planted with Pioneer corn hybrid 2088YHR. It had the YieldGard (for Corn Borer), Herculex (additional insect resistance), LL (liberty link for glufosinate herbicide tolerance), and RR2 (for glyphosate herbicide tolerance). It was very much a "franken food," as you use that term.

It doesn't matter. I want the right to know what's in my food. I don't like Monsanto. I think that someday we will wakeup to find we have poisoned our selves and we will know why the Bible doesn't say much about America during the end times.

In February 1972, Franken Berry cereal included dye that turned some children's feces pink due to an inability to break down the heavily-dyed breakfast food, a symptom sometimes referred to as "Frankenberry Stool."

ƒükkêd up as it is, I guess it qualifies as organic if you don't grow it with conventional pesticides and fertilizers, no matter the GMO factor gaah.gif

No, David Hula never claimed to be certified organic, just that he uses methods to build soil organic matter. The Examiner reporter seriously messed up here. They really ought to correct the article.

A quick google search gives information on Hula's growing methods, lots of conventional fertilizer and pesticide.

http://agfax.com/2012/12/31/buckets-of-c...er-yields/

The reporter either didn't do such a search or doesn't understand what today's organic agriculture is.

Oh it's what media does for a living. I don't expect them to correct it.
