Nope, nothing going on here, and we intend to keep it that way. chuckle.gif
We even have an ionizer that runs all the time, so there's plenty of energy for whatever to use to communicate or even appear, and we thankfully have NOTHING. whew.gif

Also if you do EVP the ghost will speak Finnish and I dont know Finnish so could please ask it to speak English

I would think Finnish or Swedish which would be my guess.

To this day this town has a majority of Swedish speakers and it used to be way higher up till the 1960s.

Population by native language[3]
• Swedish 56.4% (official)
• Finnish 40.2% (official)
• Others 3.4%

I just called Accidental Stoner at work (at the museum). He just happened to be looking at a map of this town from 1746 (?). Seems there were mainly fields around here and probably a few cabins. Might of course be something from a later date. Interesting to investigate anyways.

A ouija board is worse than the ghost in the laundry any day. Opening and closing spiritual "portholes" probably isn't the best idea.
Those spirits that come through on ouija boards aren't trustworthy.

Well guys, if the spirit wants to interact and gave his first name, why not ask his last name then you could do a search in the library (news stories, obituaries) to find out about him. Maybe he just needs a little push to get on his way, or tell his story. dunno.gif

Lower entities can, have and will masquerade as the deceased. Given the fact I didn't like the way this came across, and Octo finds it to be intimidating as well, it may be prudent to let sleeping dogs lie.
There are no local paranormal societies or investigators around here, unfortunately we're as close as it gets, and we are very reluctant to take this any further.

Yeah I'm not too crazy about initiating any further contact. My detector indicated a spirit at 25 yards so I went over to the laundry room myself last night, but I felt nothing out of the ordinary.

There is no harm in some passive preliminary investigation. Just going over there and snapping a few photos with the night vision cam should not affect anything one way or another.
No EVP's, questions or Ovulus emulators that may cause a stir.
Better to approach this respectfully, cautiously and conservatively.

Wouldn't it be nice though to send the spirit on it's way, once you find out what it really is. Do you know of any clairvoyants that have experience to first connect with spirits, open portals, then send them on their way?

Yes, there is this psychic my mom knows, he's helped us before, but last I heard he's in pretty bad shape. He also lives in Sweden so we're most likely on our own here.
