Most country roads here are gravel. Washboard will slow you down a bit chuckle.gif
they are paved here ..even the trucks take the back roads instead of the express way ..I went to bay city not long ago and took the back roads..and I had to put the pedal to the metal..i had big trucks on my butt ..goodmorning shadow :hug.

I just pull over at a safe place and let them by. Those guys have ridiculous tight turn-around times. Every day when I go to work there's deer on the road. One morning when I worked out West I counted 60 on the road, 3 splattered. I want those trucks ahead of me, not on my ass if I have to brake hard. lol

I watched a few of the car crash compilations that pop up after you watch the OP
video

one is

Two lane country road covered in Ice and Snow

heavy traffic

flow is about 50mph

and this moron doing about 70 attempts to pass cars in that weather

next

Joker at the wheel waiting to make a left turn
gives up on turning left and

Makes a right turn across three lanes SMASH

takes every car on the road out

I was on a Desert road between Barstow and Mojavi Claif .

DARK , no street lights

2 lanes

very heavy truck traffic

an Idiot in a Nissan 280Z tries to pass a Semi Truck

Just as the Semi tries to pass another Semi in front of him that was doing 55mph

the speed limit

The Z Car driver was sucked up under the rear Axle of the Semi

Nastiest mutilation of two people I ever saw

The Z Car was sheared in half and most of it stuck under the Semi .

I was right behind the Semi
when this Moron attempted to pass both of us .

as he passed me , I said " Freakin' sweet , a$$wipe , tha's causing a wreck

and I pressed the brake and slowed with flashers on

SMACK,,, SUCK,,, SPLAT ,,, DEAD !

I pulled way off the road to the right
no where could I go

WAY off to the right cause I knew more idiots were going to show up

SMACK ,,,,, SLAM ,,, MORE SPLAT DEAD ,,,

Pile up all around me

I was in my Toyota truck

the second collision got me motivated

I rode the shoulder, and since the Barbed wire fence had been torew out

I slipped pass the mess

Looking in windows at dead faces turned Red with blood .

As I drove on

no traffic ahead now

I hit it to 60mph and never looked back

Thinking

it was all just a figment

whew

heh heh

death don't bother me as much a live people do .

I saw one arm with a NICE Gold Watch on it

Nah ,,, better just get gone before another hits this pile of dead dummies .

I should have at least took the purse off that hood though

it was nice

the kind my girlfriend loved at that time

and ,,,,

it was an easy grabbed too

Good morning US, how's Ontario? It's mild here, +12 and a strong wind from the South. We've had a really nice fall so far.

Same here, it's very nice at +10, but my nephew, who lives in Whistler, welcomed their first snow yesterday and he is an avid skier so he's elated.

Whistler is friggin beautiful. Have you been there? If not put it on your list. In the summer you can ride the lift up Blackcomb and the Van. symphony plays up there. Endless things to do.

Haven't been there yet, but my nephew keeps posting beautiful pics of the place on Facebook, so I am like uhhuh.gif ... soon, soon...retirement and that RV are starting to become more and more a reality.

We're planning a trip to Pemberton this winter which isn't far from Whistler, maybe a half hour. Load the sleds and go check out some glaciers. Probably early spring when the snow is compact to avoid avalanche season.

That sounds great and remember Shadow, big trucks with novice drivers may not be able to make it up mountain roads...so keep your distance. doom.jpg
