It might be worth mentioning that conservationist and conservative have the same root word. A good part of the two words are also the same in meaning. Conservationists want to preserve nature, and conservative want to preserve values that have shown themselves to be beneficial whenever employed.
Preserving nature is one of those values. Nature has proven itself for millions of years to be a master of choosing what is right and good. Even hurricanes produce massive amounts of feel good ions that foster cooperation and endless energy. Plus, it's get people off their five inch screens and talking face to face.
You can't talk to me on a cell phone because I don't use one. The downside is I can't order a pizza with a side order of wings and sauce from my car.
The upside is that more and more my life is being filled with insights and good feelings.*
Thus far, it has been a decent trade off.
[/b] Just today my chiropractor got me to walking really well. It felt so good I went back inside to tell the receptionist that my walking was feeling "sublime" which was a strange word and maybe not the most accurate but that's what came out. When you've been disabled like I have been for about 10 years now, walking nearly normally can feel amazing.
This experience wouldn't have happened if I were plugged into cell phones and the rest. They actually make me feel extremely low energy physically and mentally.
