Jumped out and started banging on my front door.

I opened the door and they ask about a Iphone.

Three days ago my son was walking home from school and found a Iphone. The battery was dead and there was no way for us to charge it to see who it belonged to.

So we have been asking around at the Local store to see if anyone lost it.

It seems Verizon Tracked the phone to my house and called the Police.

Even with a Dead battery.

I gave the cops the phone and explained the situation, they filled out a police report and left.

Rude awakening.

This proves they can track you anywhere while your Phone is OFF.

They have low/dead battery GPS for security I suppose or in case you lose it coffeetime.gif

Maybe another Cop?

I was also under the impression they could only triangulate on a phone if it was pinging a tower for a connection.

If they can remotely power up your phone and watch you through the camera then I'm pretty sure they can track it.

Never thought about that. The phone was laying on my desk, camera pointing towards the ceiling.

I told everyone in my family if they see a 'Device' laying on the ground, from here on out leave it lay there.

I don't care what it is.

I have a drawer full of old phones, Ill be destroying them later today.

good idea oh and if you ever connect an iphone or ipod to your p/c to charge or transfer files check your task manager and you'll see that there is a hidden apple process that's always running in the back ground even after you've disconnected the device hidden spyware i's a bitch to remove but can be done through regedit and dos but you gotta know how to do it, the process sits in the background constantly sending p/c info to either apple or tptb

My brother has a broken IPHONE, I'm going to pick up later so I can disassemble it completely.

I want to see if they have RFID chips inside

I did find this article:

Use of RFID in Apple's iPhone 5 expected to have a 'unique' twist

Every communication device has a tiny memory battery .

First I ever heard of these batteries , was in Car Stereo's for the memory , so when
you disconnected the Car battery ,,,,,,

your presets stations would not be lost , which would cause you to search and
re-enter them after the battery was reconnected .

YES ! all communication devices can be tracked .

Gumby , the phone you had found ,,, heh heh ,, probably belonged to the Judge chuckle.gif

Somebody lost their phone (or thought it had been stolen) and obviously Verizon checks to see where it's at after a report from the customer is filed. Rather than send a Verizon representative over (in case of a conflict), they sent law enforcement.

I don't why you're surprised phones can be tracked when they're off - that should be common knowledge by now.

This mostly happened because Verizon would rather not give customers new phones. chuckle.gif

Not just off but with a dead battery, We tried to turn it on so we could call the owner or someone on his contact list.

Flatline phone still pinging the tower?

One evening after work about ten years ago i was sitting inside my car parked in front of a convenience store scratching a two dollar lottery ticket that i had just bought and suddenly my drivers side door swung open and i was dragged out of my car and forcibly thrown onto the pavement and i thought i was about to be friggin killed or something and i looked up and it was a cop screaming at me accusing me of rolling weed when i wasnt rolling anything and he pressed his boot into my neck and he ripped open my knee by hurling me to the ground as well as bruising my hip and scratching the side of my face and soon after i was standing there surrounded by three cruisers and six cops for a couple of hours with dozens of people all staring at me as that small platoon of friggin nazis tried finding drugs and i was just waiting for them to plant some on me but they eventually let me go and there are other similarly f###ed up stories through the years and so theres no surprise why i hate the local police around here...

Rude awakening for sure.
Can't say I envy you at all, man.
Awakening is awakening. For everybody and everyone. The result of this awakening is the true nature of the host. Yep, the police man are rude, has always been - just you've been blind to see it so far. Not everyone can become police officer, but only two legged nonhuman entities. Psychopathy and sociopathy in daily basis seen not only on TV. Fear - "Shall I survive?" - there is no dead, so the fear seems to be empty illusion. No fear - no control over you from "authority" (self imposed). No fear=freedom.

I remember back in 1996-7 we discussed the present world situation - we knew it'll happen like that (there was no forums in that days yet, just news groups on news servers), the "2012" issue was not actual yet, the $$ was strong, and the GSM technology was just at the beginning (NMT was in EU and Scandinavia).
All prediction we foresaw then become true and more to come. But well be happy end (for humanity).

lmao.gif They are not hired because they are the sharpest knives in the drawer, in fact it's quite the opposite.
They can obey commands with no moral conflicts whatsoever, due to the fact they had no moral compass to begin with, as the development of such takes... well...you know, the ability to think. chuckle.gif
