I grew up in Redondo Beach
My Custom car shop was in Hermosa where i lived

1980's brougt the gangs to L.A. in an increasing expotential skyrocketing
non-stop mad crazy bastard way.

Yep Duke
a Sidewalk Lung ain't shït compared to a sliced open Baby Hanging upside down on a coat hanger in a Tree in the park at 104th and Inglewood Ave.

seen so much shït, i gave the shop to my Nephews
hit the open road in a 1970 VW Bus

and let it all go.

funny, i ain't been back since 1998

but, i hear no one goes near any parks anymore

Manhattan Beach Pier where I surfed everyday
is now Vacant,,
no one goes out on the sand

they sent me photos

and where there used to be about 300 people on the sand around the pier

there was no one

just a few on the pier.

HA!
damned LA is a WAR Zone.

Hermosa still cooks with folks

after Dark, NO ONE IS ON THE SAND THOUGH.

this is just about where i was going,,
when i decided to leave L.A.

From the 1993 flick : FALLING DOWN

I watched it,, and saw too many similar charateristics between myself and Douglas' role

Redondo beach is beautiful, love it out there. Redondo ave, follow that south for a bit and you may have some problems... In my opinion, Now adays its scarier out there... Atleast in the early 80's and 90's u knew who the gangster were.. Now, with all the gang injunctions.. there is no colors being flagged and now you dont know who the real criminals are.. The parks as you say are empty now.. occasionaly you will get a few youngsters stompin around, but alot of that is gone.. Alot of gentrification pushed alot of people out, but LA still remains a warzone. Wester ave... Bullis... Greenleaf.... avalon.. hyde park... echo park.. mcarthur park.. Its still the same..

One thing I noticed though is because of all the illegal immigrants.. It is now a warzone on the streets. All the mexicans are moving into the old black neighborhoods and it is now BROWN ON BLACK!! White men will rarely have a problem in these parts.. after dark, well thats a diff story. I visited the old block a few years back for a day as I was passing through... Still shoes on wires, Old RIP HOMIE murals with thousands of names... still the same little poo butt kids outside throwin up signs.

There was once a time when Compton was all white, and a decent city...

Crack truly did kill the community, and so did the racism which still exists in LA. Watts riots.. people burning there own town down. Growing up in Inglewood, when someone asked you where you were from well that was a loaded question! You would say No where homie! I got out because I had cousins and relatives that banged and met their demise.. I played sports. It is not uncommon to see joggers in the morning carrying bats and golf clubs in the bad areas.. Gardena has gotten worse, shït even hawthorne....LA COUNTY is littered with gangs and problems..

The truth is, you really are seperate and caged in south LA.. regardless of what people say, there are no options for the average person growing up there... Trapped in the system.. Sad truth. Gang violence will always be LA... COLORS! Slauson Ave.. Crenshaw mafia, vermont ave.. cedar block piru's.... I am mentioning the black hoods.. Once you hit east LA, well run for the hills. PICO all the way east...

Even on the beaches of cali there are skinhead groups... I believe Redondo has always had a little sect out there....... I have mentioned the mafia corruption..... russian, asian... how about glendale armenians..... Some bloods in LA are so ignorant they refuse to use the letter C, in any sentence.... Because of there swarn rivalry with the crips... Compton is reffered to as Bompton..

What pisses me off is I grew up around this shït, I grew up in this shït.. and people glamorize this shït! What they fail to tell you is these sick mother fuckers are the ones raping your mother, stealing your children for human trafficking, sex slaves.... alot of these gangs deal in child pr0n0graphy... Its a sick game people and LOYALTY is not real. Seeing someone on the pavement, brains leaking like pink spahgetti... Makes me sick.. ƒück LA! A wasteland, full of corruption and lost dreams....

Even parts of hollywood are so dirty it makes you wanna puke... trannies, hookers, rapists, drug addicts, SICKOS!

Violence will never stop in LA, gangs DONT DIE THEY MULTIPLY!

P.S. Manhattan beach was always one of my favorite spots to run away to. There was something very soothing and spiritual about that beach. My routine was to crack a tall boy and smoke a J, just sit in the sand and watch the waves crash... It is vacant, that used to be the spot. Venice, well venice is still same ol venice! You can still see harry perry dressed in all white on his rollerblades rockin the guitar! Too touristy nowadays though.. That place used to have some serious flavor!

Ohhh I am ohh too famililar with Washington State.. Kids out here are on a new level of Wiggerdom!!
It's bad enough their past times are screwing their cousins and cow tiping...

But when you role into a ONE HORSE TOWN, and you hear lil wayne... better yet Brutha Lynch- Locc 2 the brain.. and see some piss pants little puke face bumpin and leanin... Well that's when you know mainstream media won..

If I see one more kid in a par of flip-flops, a snapback starter cap, a pair of trendy Čq shorts and a multi color tank top... Well, I may just have to turn into Michael Douglas on Falling Down..

By the way, I have never seen that, and just ordered that on Comcast on demand... So far, its a cult classic..

Any other cult status movies I should know about?? Here is a list of films that I favor, so you get a taste for my style.

Gummo, Kids, At close range, American Beauty, Basketball Diaries, Goon, Pusher series, Hobo with a shotgun, Menace 2 society ect...

Sounds like we have a similar story from humble beginnings in LA, to moving out to WA!

yeah,, that right there was me,,, brink of a total stressed breakdown.

it was a matter of get out,, or,,, what you are watching.

I hit the open road, and travelled the states,

winter in the south
summer in the north

stop and work on high rises for a few moinths and move on

Been on almost every Forest service road throughout the NW
seeking Solitude and Solace,

Ran into a face to face with Sasquatch on the banks of Lake Merwin Near Mt. St. Helens

ducked black helicopters out on an obscure mining road in Nevada 200 miles from nothin'

Treasure hunted the Southwest

found inner peace sittinn in my shirt pocket on the Navajo/Hopi Indian Res
at 4 corners.
and stuck it back inside where it belonged

Watched UFO's in Clear night Skies all over the West.

Lived off and on in Washington

had the pleasure of being kidnapped and tortured by D,I,A, Intel agents for a Treasure i found in New Mexico

ran bullets through bandito's trucks on the arizona new mexico state line

been a long wild ass life in 57 short ones

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A pair of lungs found on a Los Angeles-area sidewalk over the weekend came from an animal and were not human as initially feared, authorities said on Tuesday.

"We have examined the lungs and determined that they are not human and not of forensic value," coroner's investigator Lieutenant Fred Corral told Reuters.

Corral said investigators did not figure out what kind of animal the lungs came from or how they came to be deposited on the sidewalk.
