Funny you should say beached walruses. I watched a weird and memorable Australian movie once about a couple going camping by the beach trying to rescue their marriage. There's a beached walrus or something there that's haunting the movie and the beach. It's not a horror movie per se, but haunting nevertheless. I saw it in the late 80s and still remember it, but unfortunately I don't remember the name of it.

okay... i'm watching "noah" on dvd right now...
this isn't even slightly the biblical story. ok... there is an ark and noah etc etc but the story goes like this (so far):
noah is some weird survivalist vegetarian outcast who lives with his small family outside of the evil nature destroying cities of cain in balance with nature...
at some point he starts having visions and goes to some guy who gives him a psychedelic brew and his visions intensify. so he starts building the ark with the aid of fallen angels who look like massive mutated stone giants...

not sure if i joined this debate before but my favourite movies are

1. Withnail and I - the greatest British movie ever made about two buddies dealing with the death of the sixties.

2. Amelie - the best French film ever made. Completely inspiring and totally original.

3. Bad Boy Bubby - The greatest Australian film ever made. Original and bizarre.

A big shout out to the new Star Wars Film. Love the new name - The Force Awakens. - Great title full of ambiguity. I hope J J Abrams does it justice. Someone invent me a light-sabre...

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

Now wait ........... the favourite or the best?

May I suggest the greatest movie;
the greatest actor;
and the greatest scene

If you enjoy it half as much as I do, then you'll love it.
