Hey KipKat. Nice to see you found us all.

I'm doing pretty good thank you. Have had a good weekend with no setbacks. I am due to return to the hospital tomorrow for a couple of days.

I hope you will consider joining here, it is a good site not busy like the other but less hate and idiot postings. I am sure you will enjoy it here.

Love you!

P.S. you have another friend who was looking for you and I led them here. I hope this is okay? Pillar.

It will be sorted out for you i assure you. Just give time for Octo to wake up and read my message.

As to Pillar looking for me and you leading him here absolutely fine with that he is a friend as has been for many years would be great to see him on here. Thank you.

Both Pillar and InterMezzo tried to come here, but the site is blocked for them. They can't access the forum at all. :\

They are both sending their love though. <3

You can't access Kritterbox with a proxy IP, so that might be the problem

I'll let them know, thank you! : )

I am up and moving, I had a "minor" procedure that turned into a major procedure on Friday, it knocked me for a loop but I'm feeling better all around. I appreciate your concern - all of you. :)

Good morning everyone. Wishing you all a great week ahead.

Unfortunately I did not sleep as good as the last couple of nights. Maybe something to do with being a little anxious about going back to the hospital today.

But I also woke up with very bad wheezing and rattling. Had to resort to my nebulizer for a while to ease this. It has now eased somewhat.

So here is the situation now.

The reason I have to go back to the hospital is for extensive tests to check if I am fit for a second session of Chemotherapy. I have said in the past to the doctors that I am not wanting to take the second session. However they want to do the testing and then try to convince me of the advantage in having that second session.

In honesty I am still against it but have decided to go with an open mind and leave all options open. If and that is a very big if, I decide to go ahead then it will be likely that I will get the second Chemo on Wednesday.

This is a very difficult time for me right now. This is probably going to be the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life so far.

Your thoughts and input are very welcome on this matter and I would be very grateful for them.

Thanks.

I just found this article!

Landmark Study Shows Half of Cancer Patients are Killed by Chemo — NOT Cancer!!

No matter how much doctors push the treatment, chemotherapy might not be the best option in the fight against cancer, as a new study shows up to 50 percent of patients are killed by the drugs — not the disease, itself.

Researchers from Public Health England and Cancer Research UK performed a groundbreaking study examining for the first time the numbers of cancer patients who died within 30 days of beginning chemotherapy — indicating the treatment, not the cancer, was the cause of death.

Across “England around 8.4 per cent of patients with lung cancer, and 2.4 per cent of breast cancer patients died within a month

Alternative treatments do, in fact, exist — the most promising among them for many cancers are various formulations of CBD oil, a cannabis derivative. But, thanks to the phenomenally failed war on drugs, cancer patients in most areas of the U.S. are unable to procure much needed medicine or are forced to receive treatment on the sly — risking time behind bars simply for wanting to cure themselves.

Hi Nigel,

I know this is an incredibly difficult decision and you may be overwhelmed. Take a few deep breaths and clear your mind. Does your intuition immediately lead you one way or another?

I believe you really need to decide for yourself. If I were in your shoes, I would do the chemo. Since its stage 4, I feel like there's nothing to lose and everything to gain, considering that your doctors clear you for being healthy enough to take it.

Again, that's just my gut feeling. I wish you the best!

Sorry to hear you didn't sleep as well last night Nigel. I'm sure the anxiety played a role in that like you said.

Regarding the possibility of a second round of chemo, all I can suggest is that you listen to your heart. You do whatever YOU feel you need to do, for YOU. I will support any decision you choose to make.

Much love! Always in my prayers. hug.gif

Well I have returned to the hospital for all those tests. I really am having a difficult time with this decision on the second Chemo. How do you choose to take something that could kill you before the cancer does?

In reality I am feeling great at the moment, better than I have in a long time. Is that a result of the natural remedies and cannabis oil I have been taking? Is that enough reason to not take a second session of poison?

This is what I am dealing with in my mind at the moment.

Okay, my honest opinion, don't do it. Don't do the chemo.
