I hope there are ways to reverse this.

I have just been moved to a bigger room. Don't know if that's supposed to mean something.

I just can't seem to stop crying lately. I am having a terrible time of this. It was all so sudden. From diagnosis ( I was ill for 3 months prior) to getting so bad took just 3 weeks. The first was an X-ray that showed a small shadow on the left of the lung. I went for 3 weeks getting worse and worse pain. It seemed I was going almost every day to A&E at the hospital. Then they decided to admit me and start a fill investigation of what the problem was. They took another X-Ray and now the shadow was completely covering my left lung. I was informed it looked like cancer. Oh how those word cut through me like a knife. They scheduled me for emergency tests and all sorts of scans for that day. I did every scan and test. Then they gave me the real bombshell. I was told it was"small cell" lung cancer, It was explained to me what that was. As if that was not enough there came the real bad news mow.

I was told how much It had already taken over my other organs. And the dreaded probably only a few days, weeks at most left to live.

How do you deal with that. You don't it just leaves you completely in a state of shock and numbness.

So here we are now. Don't know any more than before. I have had a major blood transfusion, took 6 hours yesterday. I am having transfusion of platelets every couple of days. I am in a real mess here.
I could be alive tomorrow maybe I won't be. I just wait and see in the morning. So far so good but I am living on borrowed time I feel.

Don't know what else to tell you.

I don't know if the message reads OK as it is difficult to concentrate and even more difficult to see very well as my eyesight has gone quite blurry recently.

Life is like a penny, you can spend it on what you like, but you can ONLY spend it once.

I'm alive!

I have slept a few hours and feel refreshed somewhat. I have awoken in agony with pain in hips.

Just been given I.V.Morphine. Pain is good though because It tells me I am alive.

The pain is subsiding slightly due to the morphine, Thankfully.

Good morning world!

Good morning. Oh I wish I could be painless. I have forgotten what a day feels like with no pain!

But hey, I survived another night. Can't be all bad.

I have managed to get liposomal vitamin c that I started taking yesterday. I am now taking 2 grams every couple of hours.
Other things I am looking into trying to get delivered to this Hospital. It takes time and that is not what I have too much of right now.

Thank you so much. I am getting funded but just difficult to get some of the stuff I need fast. Damn UK restrictions in force on so much of the good alternatives. Means I am having difficulty on finding suppliers here so have to get supplied from other countries. Hence the timing!

You are racing against time, so I hope the alternative meds work fast.
