rofl.gif Whaler is used to it. He's better at many more things than me, it all works.

I just like collecting and fixing old stuff. But I have a special fondness for old planes.

For around five years my mom and I owned and operated a local antique store down town and I just luv looking for cool and rare old stuff at yard sales and flea markets (*-*)

Nice Work Woman

can you do my Back ?

it's old and creaky

has a Patina
a little surface rust

missing a Knob or two
the hinges squeak like hell

pick me up by the heels and snap me like a whip , did nothing good

same with being worked over by a Rolling Pin , just messed it up worse

I thought to strip it and re-varnish , but it's caked too thick with crusty
scars ,,, that would have to be filled with Putty first .

The Stain is old and thick , so several applications of stripper would have to
be applied of course .

it has two stripped screws on the lower spine
and mold just below those .

You may want to use the plane to rake off the crust first .
